Happy people
Ipsos MORI and The Times have found that pnly 16% of Britons are 'very happy'. This is down from 19% in 2008. 63% are 'rather happy', 18% 'not very happy' and 2% 'not happy at all'.

Given that work is one of the main drivers of happiness is part of the cause that large numbers of people are having to take jobs that they aren't enjoying?

Something has changed since 2008.
