Industry awards
Whenever I read about industry awards the winners seem to be the large companies like Reed and Robert Half. These award ceremonies are organised by publishers, for example Haymarket. It's actually big business for them, with tickets to the black tie dinner and ceremony often costing a couple of hundred pounds.

Given that these large companies spend large budgets with Haymarket isn't it a bit of a conflict of interests? Industry awards are business rather than an indicator of credibility.
